SNMP

Why we need this equipment.

• Comunication protocol that allows a client to make request to server . Riello Netman 204 is SNMP Agent.
• SNMP Agent can also send messages  (TRAP)  without a prior  request  from manager , to inform particular impotant  events.
• The new technology SNMPv3 is the evolutionof  SNMP  and introduces new important features related to security . Optimized SNMP with FTP  FTP is a network protocol used for file exchange,  NetMan 204 uses this protocol for :
  • Download of files of the UPS values and events history log archive ( Datalog and Eventlog from UPS machine.
  • Download and upload of configuration files .
  • Firmware upgrade

  The connection also be establised  using all the most popular  web browser are supported.

  Feature for Netman 204

• If one or more alarm conditions occur
• Sent to recipients and they can be sent to  or more seven different  kinds of alarm
• SMTP would be the protocol used to send the e- mails
• Default configuration port 25  on with.

Report NetMan 204 can send periodic e-mails  with an attachment containing the files of the ups values and events history log archive.

NetMan 204 is possibile to connect  the  enviromental sensor  for monitoring temperature, humidity and digital input/ouput, There is an available sensors:

• Temperature : Detects the enviromental temperature in ⁰Celcius.

• Humidity & Temperature: detects the relative humidity in %  and temperature in ⁰ Celcius

Digital I/O & Temperature :

• Detect the enviromental temperature in ⁰Celcius and features a digital input and digital ouput.
